In order to make it possible for all citizens to be able to exercise their mandate the polling booths in Delhi are being made disabled friendly. We have been working with the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer and other NGO’s and individuals to develop a training film and training material to train all officials at the polling stations. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi and other authorities are working on the construction of ramps etc. at polling stations according to specifications and guidelines given to them for seamless access.
